Halpatiokee Regional Park is a 500-acre preserve managed in Martin County, Florida. Visitors can explore diverse local habitats from mesic hammocks to scrubby flatwoods and riverfront landscapes. Hike or bike along eight miles of trails, including a portion of the Florida Trail, and keep your eyes peeled for over a hundred species of native flora and fauna. Paddle through a network of tranquil lakes or navigate the 4.2-mile paddling trail along the scenic South Fork of the St. Lucie River. Camp under the stars at a reservable back-country campsite, or simply relax at a picnic pavilion and soak up the beauty of this natural wonderland.
There are baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, pickleball courts, a hockey rink, a disc golf course, a children’s playground, and much more. There are multiple areas of public restrooms, plenty of parking available, and concession stands that are open during events.
